I created this layout about my youngest son Brandon for an article on scrap-tastrophies! Yep we've all had them - a sticker or paper tear, mist mishap, spelling blunder. You name it and I've "been there done that" LOL! For this layout I wanted to show how you can take a tragedy such as a paper tear and turn it into an opportunity to step up the design quotient on your layout and create a fun embellishment to hide your mistake. Now if I had another piece of green paper I could have started over, but I didn't want to risk having to pull off the remaining black letter stickers from my title. So with a little bit of die cutting and my trusty circle punch I created a cute top hat and mustache embellishment to house the letter "s" and take my title up a notch. I love that it adds some personality to this layout all about my youngest and HIS "swagger-iffic" personality.
You can see that I used the name of the Fancy Pants collection featured on this layout as inspiration for my title. It was the perfect fit for these photos of my youngest strutting his stuff at our family photo shoot last fall. Here's a few more detail images ...
