Two Peas In A Bucket - Finally Friday Video

Hey everybody!  I'm so excited to share another Finally Friday video with you that I created for Two Peas In A Bucket.

This card  is copyright Two Peas in a Bucket

For this card I created a pretty everyday themed card using the Studio Calico Heyday collection and some new sentiment stickers from the My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing collection.  The colors blend together seamlessly!

Here's a few detail images of the card I created ...

And here's the video ...

Goodies for Sale!

Anyone interested in a goodie box of scrapbook supplies? I’m cleaning out the scrap studio to make some room. Most of it is unused (there may be a few stickers missing here and there). Cost is $50 which includes USPS Flat Rate shipping. The boxes are all random but I’ve got lots of great companies that may be in there including American Crafts, Basic Grey, Crate Paper, Echo Park, My Mind’s Eye, October Afternoon, Pebbles, etc just to name a few. Nothing really old either – most product is from the last 1-2 years.  Lots of embellishments will be included as well - chipboard, stickers, buttons, jewels, etc.

If you’re interested just send me an email at lghahary(at)cevant(dot)com.  Thanks!  :)

ETA:  I have SEVERAL boxes to sell so if you would like more than one just let me know.  Also let me know which companies you are most interested in.  I can't guarantee everything on your wish list will be in there but goodness knows I'll try to include as much as I can!  ;)

Two Peas In A Bucket - Gardeners' Digest

Hey everybody!  Welcome to the August edition of the Gardeners' Digest.  The Garderners' Digest is simply a monthly update from the Garden Girls, the design team at Two Peas In A Bucket.  It's a place for us to share what we're currently working on, inspired by, using in our projects, etc.  A little diary of sorts for you to keep up with all of us on our personal blogs as well as over at Two Peas In A Bucket.

This week we are celebrating "Back To School" Two Peas In A Bucket style!  All of the projects released this past Monday have a school theme.  I created a fun layout celebrating Darian's first day of school last year.  You can see my school themed layout right here in the Garden.  Here's a peek at my layout ...

Browsing the gallery at Two Peas is one of my favorite things to do when I'm looking for inspiration.  I fell in love with this amazing layout by fellow Garden Girl Shannon Tidwell.  I absolutely LOVE what Shannon did with the stencil paper on this layout.

Next I'd like to share a few recent purchases I've made from the shop at Two Peas.  Lots of new products have arrived recently and I've been stocking up for a very special project I'm working on for Two Peas.  Here are five of my most recent purchases ...

Garden Girl Jen Gallacher just launched a brand new mini workshop called Words Unsaid.  Here's a description of Jen's new class ...

Memories fade quickly and making sure we include all our stories within our scrapbooks can seem daunting. In this Mini Workshop, Garden Girl Jen Gallacher shares her approach for meaningful journaling. Jen is a dedicated journal keeper and has kept personal journals for over 30 years (ever since she was old enough to write). Now she combines her love of record keeping with scrapbooking! This journaling-centered class covers topics from holidays, to day-to-day events, to family moments, and several often forgotten subjects.

Lessons include:

Chapter 1: Special Events
Chapter 2: Day-to-Day Living
Chapter 3: Stories to Remember

Each chapter includes 10 BRAND NEW layouts for a total of 30 layouts. An instructional video is provided for each chapter in which Jen discusses her philosophy on journaling each memory, as well as, her creative approach to journaling design. Each chapter video highlights the start-to-finish process of one of the chapter layouts. Watch Jen select the photos, journal her story, and complete a layout all under 30 minutes!

Beyond mere journaling, Jen discusses challenges to telling the story, creative methods for incorporating journaling on the page, and product suggestions for a fresh approach to journaling design. A helpful PDF is provided for each chapter and combines into a complete, comprehensive guide to meaningful journaling. Each layout is highlighted on its own page and includes the complete supply list, a close-up photo, and the approach to both documenting the story and the design of the journaling. Additional materials found within the PDF include topic ideas, journaling product ideas, and tips and tricks for journaling.

Whether you're an experienced writer looking to incorporate journaling into your scrapbooks, or you struggle with knowing what to say on your pages, this workshop's for you! Never leave "words unsaid" again!

The content of this workshop will be available immediately upon purchase. The lessons are available for you to work at your own pace and upon purchase can be accessed in the "Workshops" section under "Classes & Events." A private message board forum is also available to ask questions of both Jen and to connect with other participants. Enjoy!

Missing In Action ...

So .... you may have noticed I kinda disappeared there for a few days.  I had the best intentions of posting the rest of my Basic Grey CHA projects as well as some new projects that have popped up over at Two Peas.  And then I got sick.  Really, really sick.  Like lay in bed with fever, drag yourself to the doctor, feel like the world is ending sick.  Ugh!  I haven't been this sick in awhile.  I know a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am wearing myself down - this has been THE busiest summer for me in a long time work wise.  My poor body is trying to tell me to slow down and decided to go on strike for a few days.  That being said I think (I hope!) I am on the mend.  Hey, at least I'm up and out of bed today.  ;)  I still don't feel great.  When I cough it sounds like a cat trying to get rid of a hairball.  And my poor boys have taken to giving me "air" hugs and kisses because they don't want to catch what I have.  I've even scared them with this bout of illness!  LOL

Since I haven't done much posting here on the good ol' blog I thought I'd hop on and at least give you a few links to some recent projects I've had popping up around the web this week.  Something is better than nothing, right?

I had this layout go live in the Garden over at Two Peas In A Bucket on Monday.  LOVE LOVE LOVE these photos of my sweet niece Gia that I snapped at her second birthday party last month.  Isn't she precious?  I used the adorable Cakewalk collection from October Afternoon on this layout.

I also had a new Finally Friday video go live a few days ago.  August is all about back to school at Two Peas (although we don't actually go back to school until September here in NJ).  I used the fantastic Basic Grey Clippings collection for this card.  Click here to see the video

I also had a few blog posts go up on the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog.  To take a peek into my scrapbook room check out this blog post.  To see one of my CHA-S projects using the Serenade collection from Basic Grey check out this blog post.  And to enter a giveaway to win the Serenade line before it hits store be sure to stop by and leave a comment on the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog here (comments must be left on the SCT blog NOT on my blog).

Well that's about it!  August proves to be even more hectic for my family and I as we head out on vacation next week, football practices are in full swing, and I am working hard on a very special project I've got coming up at Two Peas.  So if you don't see me for awhile ... now you know why!  LOL  Thanks for stopping by!  :)
