Okay so I kept meaning to write a blog post today. And every time I sat down at the computer I managed to do everything but that. What I did manage to do was find a super cute outfit for my SIL's baby shower next month and check the weather a gazillion times to make sure the sunshine wasn't going anywhere too fast. Oh yeah and post stuff on facebook. You know, the essentials. But no blog post. So here it is already past 8pm and I'm determined to get this post written. Oh but wait ... ha! Just kidding! ;)
So today I am sharing a layout that is up over on the Collage Press blog. Our theme for May is "vintage" Collage Press so I dug out some Jackson Lodge and created this layout about the bond between my hubby and Darian.
If you're a frequent reader of my blog you probably know by now that I have a "thing" for blue and orange together. Doesn't really matter what shades but that color combination just makes me happy. Throw in a little green and brown and ... well ... it's just about pure heaven for me. ;)
I LOVE the die cut sheets that come with each Collage Press collection and used one below for my title block. The chipboard letters are actually from the Making Memories Pitter Patter collection but are a perfect match to the blue in the patterned papers.
Okay there. I did it. Post written. Not so hard now was it? LOL! I have something else I want to share with you tomorrow as well. If I was a good girl I'd write that post right now and schedule it so it's all ready to go but I kinda like being a bad girl. Plus I need to go watch Glee now on Hulu - I missed Tuesday's episode and I've heard that it was a good one. Good night! :)
