Happy Monday!

Happy Monday everyone!  I couldn't think of a snazzy blog post title so that is what you get.  Hee hee!  I hope you had a great weekend.  It was gorgeous weather here in New Jersey thank goodness.  I was starting to think that Mother Nature had a personal vendetta against me or something.  ;)

I wanted to share a project that I worked on last week.  Salar's friend John asked me to put something together for his wife (who also scrapbooks) to commemorate their wedding.  I knew I wanted to do something other than just a layout and the 7gypsies Printer's Trays was perfect for this.  He snuck me their wedding folder (that included their vows and all sorts of tidbits from their big day) as well as some photos a few months ago and and this is what I came up with ...

I used mostly the Capella Collection from Basic Grey mixed in with a few other bits and pieces.  This collection is so very pretty but not your typical wedding line which I love.

One of my favorite things to do with the element stickers from Basic Grey is layer, layer, layer!  You can see how I layered 3 different flower stickers below using dimensional adhesive and placed them all within a metal frame from Making Memories.

And of course I couldn't resist adding this pretty Prima trellis rose along with some 7gypsies Wedding stickers in one of the boxes.

I think my most favorite part of this tray is this little square here ...

I created a little folder with the sticker "I do" as part of the tab.  Within it I printed an excerpt from the vows that Jennifer wrote to John.  Reading them totally touched my heart and I loved the idea of including them in the printer's tray but in a more private way.  Here's a picture of the folder open ...

I gave this to John Friday night when he was at our house for a boys' night of poker.  I can't wait to hear all about Jennifer's reaction when he gave it to her.  And now I'm feeling the need to make one for myself since I've done absolutely nothing with our wedding pictures and we'll be married 10 years this September!  LOL!  Enjoy your Monday! :)

I keep walking past that tray at Archivers thinking that I should get it, but I get scared or something. I don't think I could be THAT creative.
TFS!
